The Twi’lek in front of him shrugged innocently and skipped away, further down the glossy streets of Kaas City. Her laughter continued to echo from the walls of the surrounding apartment blocks.
“Stop laughing, Ayy! Wait!” The Chiss chased after her, but she had already been swallowed by the crowd milling about the marketplace. I will find you soon enough, he thought by himself and couldn’t help but smirk.
All of these years and all of this pain they endured couldn’t stop them from making the most inhospitable places their playground. It was almost as if they didn’t care.
And, truth be told, they didn’t.
